The MFW
Story
Welcome! I'm Donald, owner of Moses Fleetwood Walker Media. Why the name MFW? I'd love to tell you!
As an avid athlete & sports enthusiast, I was inspired in my youth to learn about black sports figures & their incredible stories of courage and triumph, & Moses Fleetwood Walker was such a man. He trailblazed a path for African American athletes by being the first black man to play in Major League Baseball (MLB) in 1884, some 63 years before Jackie Robinson famously broke the MLB’s color barrier in 1947. Later in life, Moses became a patron of the arts, a business owner in the cultural scene, and an inventor. I resonated with the balance of both sports & cultural activities in my own life & have been dedicated to bringing that level tenacity & creativity to my work.
After learning about Moses at a young age, I have always carried his namesake through my creative endeavors and will continue to do so through my media business to share his incredible story with others. I'm inspired to deliver excellence to my clients & can't wait to work with you.
